Pilates works by re-awakening and strengthening the deep postural muscles which, for various reasons (eg. office based job, inactive lifestyle), may have stopped working as they should. Regular practise will improve posture, strength and flexibility, reduce stress, tension and joint pain and improve focus and concentration.
